Most decaf tastes like it's missing something. This one brings back what is missing.
From small-holder farmers in Chiapas, Mexico, this Water Process decaf defies expectations. Where most decafs are roasted dark to mask stripped flavors, we roast this approaching medium, light enough to preserve its delicate character.
The result is clean, bright, and remarkably tea-like with dried lemon peel and honey graham cracker sweetness.
It doesn't taste like a normal decaf.
Roasted on the light side of medium, you get Snapple-like citrus brightness and persistent sugar sweetness. The body starts to develop cocoa roast tones coming forward. The finish is clean and the flavor is honest.
Why Water Process: There are zero chemicals used. The caffeine is removed using only water, temperature, and time. It costs more to process this way, but flavor retention is dramatically better than solvent-based methods. You're drinking coffee that tastes like what it is—delicate, flavorful, and deliberately light.
Versatility: It's great hot, but that tea-like quality and lemon brightness shine when served cold. Also excellent for afternoon or evening drinking when you want actual flavor, not just caffeine free brown water.
Roast Level: Medium
Tasting Notes: Dried lemon peel, honey graham cracker, tea-like, clean
Certifications: Organic, Farm Gate (fair pricing to farmers)
The Bottom Line: Decaf that doesn't taste like compromise. Bright, clean, delicate. The coffee you drink at 4pm because you want coffee, not because you need caffeine.
